I know many people who drink coffee in the morning either because they need a boost of energy or simply because they love the taste of coffee, I mean who doesnt? Any who I was blessed with a great opportunity this summer through the Denver Scholarship Foundation. They decided to start a partnership with the City of Denver. The City of Denver then decided to contact local and private industries so that we the scholars could intern. I was lucky enough to become a part of the Marley Coffee vision. They are a start-up business which is great because I am allowed to sit with almost all of their departments and gain a well-rounded experience of how a growing business works! I am very excited and grateful for this opportunity that I wanted to think of a way in which I could reach out and maybe make a small difference for their business. The best way for me start with that is by introducing their coffee to all of my friends and family! Marley Coffee has a huge and beautiful vision. They are all about sustainability, eco-friendliness, and simply giving back to our community through ethical farming and also donating to different organizations such as Kicks for a cause, Water wise, and 1love. It was all started off with Bob Marleys son Rohan, who wanted to continue a part of his fathers legacy through farming. My dreams have always been to somehow make a difference in at least one persons life, and working here with Marley Coffee really gives me an opportunity to do so. Unfortunately, their isnt somewhere you could go and sit it in and have a sip of the delicious organic coffee, but there is Marley Coffee Bike Caffe downtown on 16th street mall or it could be purchased online in either bags of ground or whole bean or even K-cups (which are eco-friendly) here: marleycoffee/buy/.
