I know people are sick of the referendum. But it is the most important political decision you will make in your lifetime. And it will affect you, your family and your community for countless generations. If you dont want to see political discourse or information from either side, hide the feeds from people who do it most or come off Facebook for a while. I will continue to post information from from the YES side and will make no apology for that. I believe Scotland would be a fairer, more socially just, more wealthy country governed from Holyrood and free from the self-absorbed politics of the rich elite of Westminster. You may disagree for valid reasons. Great! Let me hear your discourse and your information. Id rather Facebook was used for this kind of important discussion than not, when many people either cant find or dont take it upon themselves to find information to make an informed choice. Ideally Id like people to go to events o hear the information but many wont so social media remains a great way to educate and inform. Lets be grateful we have this chance to hear varied opinion on important issues. Many countries dont. Whatever you read on Facebook, No one is forcing you either way - its still ur own decision, and a decision which should be respected from both sides. Just read. And vote.
