I know some in the community might legitimately disagree with me, - TopicsExpress

I know some in the community might legitimately disagree with me, but heres my take: Anti-LGBT and anti-choice street preacher (and convicted stalker) Flip Benham is at UNC-Charlotte today, where the Carolina Conference on Queer Youth is being held. (Unfortunately, Im not there as Im tied up in the office.) Word is that Benham fully registered for this event — a free, as-advertised open-to-the-public event held on the property of a public (read: government) institution. So far, hes been allowed to stay and, barring any true (read: legally defined and enforceable) harassment or disruption, he should continue to be allowed. The First Amendment applies to all — equally. Its one of the hallmarks of our Republic, and one of the reasons why I love this country so much. #HaveYouReadTheConstitutionLately
