My dear friends... You have been such and important part for support and motivation... Although I am still strugling with mobility and motility, I am mroving overall and I find myself having increased energy... The motivation part has to do with my continued physiotherapy and son I will be transferred to another hospital for longer term physio and intense exercise so that I can walk semi normally. As I may have mentioned before... I was looking forward to have Peritonial dyalisis at home which would simplify my life substantially, However this is not to be... Mainly of 3 issues... I have to lose yet another 50 pounds on top of the 50 I alraedy lost and then there is the fact that I have a hernia that has to be fixed before they attempt the surgery for PD... The fact that my hert is not pumping right is a big concern to the surgeon and he is weary of the anaestesia... He told me I wont operate you right now because I dont want to lose U on the table He didnt say never, so its up to me to do what I an and everything I can to take awaqy his arguments and improve my chances... IWhen that happens is anyones guess.. losing weight as you all know is a hard battle to fight but its very winnable. Then after 6 months or so, I will visit that surgeon again when all weight is off and my blood pressure regulated... After 2 years on Dyalisis and continued good results, Transplatation may be discussed... I am looking this time at a pancreas and kidney transplant... So there you have it... Its all the news I have and now you know too. I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful you all are I love you all... It would be so unfair to single a few to thank, because you are so many who responded with good wishes and prayers... May God bless you always and protect you and your fimaly....~
