I know that imitation is supposed to be a form of flattery but - TopicsExpress

I know that imitation is supposed to be a form of flattery but when you spend over a year creating programs and invest your money and time in creating recipes, photographing them, creating plans, writing about your nutritional views and sharing the information youve paid a lot of money to school to learn- it is frustrating! I thought that paying the expense to have everything copyrighted would deter people but in todays world people have no respect for other peoples hard work. Its one thing to share things without permission and honor/mention the person who wrote the content and a whole other to pass the information off as your own. After a not so fun phone call with my attorney it looks like I will have to spend the money I budgeted for a new plan I wanted to create for protecting the content I already created. And geez the attorneys are going to charge more to send out letters than probably what I earn on the plans. Is plagiarism not discussed anymore? I truly dont get it. I give away a ton of content for free. All I ask is that people go about getting it the honest way. But Im not going to let a few bad apples stop my mission. Im signing the check and letting them worry about it from now on!
