I know there are people around the world who have no clean water. There are ways that we can give to improve that for them. I realize there are people starving in other countries...shoot...in our own backyards! We can make a change right here! I see people whose bodies are being attacked by illnesses & they are dying from lack of a cure. We can find ways to get involved, raise awareness & help with a solution. But for the love of all that that is good in the world, find that compassion in your heart & STOP & THINK about the people & families you hurt when you criticize them for trying to do something good. How can you know they arent doing more than the $10? How do you know they arent going in to a soup kitchen every month to help feed the hungry & donating clothing items for people that have nothing? How do you know they arent reading to children in a cancer wing at a childrens hospital or quietly mowing a widows lawn twice a month because she cant do it for herself? How do you know what people do BEHIND THE SCENES?? Dont be so quick to judge & assume that people doing these challenges are in it to get out of having to give more or because they want attention. If that is truly what you believe, I think the individual with the heart issue isnt the one willing to get themselves wet.
