I know these questions get asked a lot, but Im not liking the sound of my current heads on my newer set. Ive used Evans ec2 heads forever now. But I recently bought a pdp concept maple series 7 piece and Im just not liking the sound. It seems too high pitched of a tone with the new shells for what Im aiming for. I usually use evans, but Im not a brand whore so anything works. Im looking for tom heads that produce a lower tone all around but also wont get drowned out when other things are going on.
