I know this is super simplified but when Hillary was running in the Primary this is a bit of what she had on her mind for Health Care...... but her plan was not a total takeover by Government. HILLARY CLINTON ON UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE. Obama is saying over and over and over, that the Republicans do not have a solution for Health Care. He refuses to consider anything but his....... ALL OBAMA NEEDS TO DO is look at another Democrat ... Hillary Clinton...... roughly speaking, this was her plan.... NOT GOVERNMENT... but private with Government controls, on cost, to protect pre existing, age and mobility. With Business.. she boasted a WIN/WIN..... tax rewards to insure (not Obama penalties), employee income tax free benefits. Yes, mandate all need to obtain health care but for those needing coverage could join the pool offered to Congress (around 250 plans).... with mobility between policies and no preexisting etc. controls on cost....ALL PRIVATE... NOT GOVERNMENT CONTROLLED. Those that could not afford insurance would qualify for Medicaid just as they do today. 22,000 pages would not be required for this. AND IF YOU LIKE YOUR DR. YOU COULD KEEP HIM/HER, for real. ALSO..... her plan would be enjoyed by all and not exempt by Congress, Unions, and Muslims (did you know they are exempt? against their religion) go tell all that to the Catholics.
