I know today will be tough for some of my brother and sister firefighters as well as others as they send off the young hero from the trailer fire last week and make him an Honorary Firefighter and give him a Firefighter Funeral. The priest at St. John of Rochester where the funeral will be held is strongly leading us, but I know this is tough for him as well. I know the past week has been awful for many of my friends. But, doing this for this hero is the right thing and makes me proud to be part of this brotherhood. It is not about the PR, it is about doing good and doing right.
