I know very little about formal dress code for presentation. I learned from my teachers ,seniors and googled a lot . As we still get confused . Here are some of my learning . 1.We can wear shari or salwar kameez as per culture of the organization . 2.DO NOT EXPOSE YOURSELF. USE PINS CAREFULLY !!! SHOWING YOUR BODY MAKES YOU LOOK CHEAP AND DUMB . 3.Texture of the cloth should be moderate . AVOID psychedelic / animation / big floral prints. 4.AVOID SHOCKING COLORS 5.Colors can also be consistent with product/theme color (eg. Case on GP: Black and blue) 6.DONT wear Shocking pink color if the presentation is on 21st February . In short consider calender days . 7.Color should be preferably black / white / off white / moderate colors . 8.If you wear scarf use plain color scarf . AVOID PRINTED scarf and dazling pins . 9.Use small jewelry . Small ear tops, a thin chain (if you have a tall neck). WEAR WATCH . Wear a thin bracelet. 10.AVOID anklets or anything that makes sound . 11.If you can wear heals . Flats are also cool . Preferably black . AVOID DAZZLING shoes or shoes that make sound . 12.Iron cloths properly . 13.Dont keep hair open . Make a pony tale or use punch clip. 14.Full sleeves or 3/4 sleeves are preferable . 15.DO NOT USE LOUD MAKE UP . Simple eye-liner , light lip color is okay . 16.DO NOT WEAR DRESS WITH SEE-THROUGH SLEEVES . 17.If it is a group presentation , wears same dress , same shari , same scarf , same top . 18.DO NOT WEAR SHORT DRESS OR SKINNY DRESS. IN SHORT : win the presentation/competition with your head . NOT WITH YOUR BODY.Do not distract judges/boss with your loud appearance . Impress them with your talent and intelligence . All the best girls :)
