I know we are all being tested in many different ways, whether through our health, money, jobs, family or even people in public. But greater the tests, greater the reward. When things are going well, its easy to stay positive. But when we are challenged, or when the outcome of things dont go the way we had wanted, thats when the true test of faith begins. Will we stay positive and happily accept the decision Allah (SWT) has made for us? Will we continue to be thankful and trust that their is a greater reason for what has happened? Or will we become angry and start blaming people? Or even become angry with Allah (SWT)? Will we start praying and be more thankful, or will we start to become negligent and start becoming distant from Him? For the believer, these tests are made to bring us closer to Allah (SWT). Being patient through these difficult trials, and using them as inspiration to become a better person, and to obey and worship more are some of the characteristics of the true believer. This is what is meant by believing in the Divine destiny or Qadr (fate) that Allah (SWT) has chosen for us. We all realize that as much as we may plan for things, many things are not in our control. We can plan and prepare our best, but many unusual circumstances may happen. This is when we put our trust in the Qadr (fate) of Allah (SWT). And accept the decisions He has made for us and continue to stay positive and faithful and later down the road we will understand the reasons behind everything iA. So lets keep our faith strong, and help encourage each other and teach those who do not yet understand or just need a little reassurance. May Allah (SWT) continue to build our faith stronger, bring us closer to Him, and grant us a high level of patience, ameen.
