I learned something kinda cool. I recently had my XM satellite radio receiver stolen from my vehicle the other night and I was really bummed out because the car radio dial is broken so no music at all let alone my favorite Howard Stern show 24/7. You dont realize ho much you rely on something until its gone. Not only does pure silence suck while driving but I find that I feel more nervous or edgy when my brain isnt occupied by another source. If that makes any sense. Anyways the actual thief wont be able to sell it for more then $15.00 on a good day if he/she is lucky as well as stupid. A bit of a big risk to the thief as the car was parked in front of the house during the time it was stolen, and I live in a good neighborhood. Anyways I called it in as stolen. They are sending me a new receiver but now with a 2 year agreement and shipping and handling and whatnot. When I get the unit I will call and try and get a better monthly rate or possibly send it back, but I also found out that by downloading Winamp on my cellphone I can actually tune into The Howard Stern show and plug a 3.6 connector to my car radio that allows me to patch into the car speakers as well as connecting into the power source that was once plugged into the unit that can now be plugged into my phone keeping a constant charge. So now I am getting a double bonus. Free radio and a constant charged cellphone. That is until I need to make a phone call. Trying to turn a lemon into lemonade or something like that.
