I learned something the hard way this weekend. Someone told me I was beating people up & pushing them away with the bible. I asked how, and I was told I was doing it with spiritual pride...I was shown psalms 119:105 "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path." (The emphasis was on MY) I went to Matthew 5:14-15 to defend myself "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put itt under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light unto all who are in the house." I was confused, and began searching....I found 2Kings 20:13 and discovered I have been doing that exact same thing...Hezekiah had been saved from deadly sickness, and then went around showing off everything he had. I have been doing that, not literally, but i had just the same. So to everybody that was at the birthday(s) party..or whoever may be reading this, that has been pushed away or in anyway made upset by my ickyness...I am very sorry. I have been spending entirely too much time on only one side of what I believe. Ily
