I leave Canada very soon, heading for Sierra Leone and transiting - TopicsExpress

I leave Canada very soon, heading for Sierra Leone and transiting through London. I must say I am feeling very proud of myself right now. As the fight against EBOLA needs all hands on deck, I was proud to take US$7,000 from my BANK OF AMERICA personal savings in my bank account and use it to pay for air freight of tens of thousands of facial masks and scores of Isolation Gowns which were donated to people of Sierra Leone by Canadas foremost international health charity; to help our fight against EBOLA! On my arrival in Canada, I was introduced to International Hope of Canada (IHC) by Sierra Leone Nationals Association of Manitoba (SALNAM). Honestly, as far as Diaspora groups go, SALNAM is amongst the very best patriots..! I salute them and I feel so honoured they chose to invite me here! Sierra Leoneans should be so proud of them. The value of what we are air freighting to Sierra Leone is around US$100,000 (one hundred thousand dollars); all brand new, high-quality and of bio-medical standards! The items will transit from Winnepeg to Ontario and then to London and finally Freetown where they should land on a British Airways flight late next week to be used in the fight against EBOLA. I will also be returning to Freetown next week. This photo shows me, SALNAM and IHC as we labelled the 89 cartons for air shipment. Lots and lots more upbeat photos of more scenes of this beautiful development will be posted in the next few hours in the comments section below but for now, I am signing off FACEBOOK to pack my suitcases to leave Canada.
