I like Greg hardy as a panther. However, I feel that Its not in the teams best interest on a public image standpoint that he remains active. I support the action to put him on The exemption list. Same thing the Vikings did with Peterson. These players all need to realize that the name of the orginization is far more important than the name on the back of the jersey they wear. They are paid millions to be professional athletes and with to whom much is given, much is demanded. Being a true professional means conducting yourself in a professional manner on and off the field at all times. Your actions good or bad, will reflect on to the team and are subject to public and media scrutiny,... for good or bad. I believe it in the panthers best interest to deactivate Hardy until his off field issues are resolved within the legal system. The Carolina Panthers do not need negative publicity. Im thankful as a fan for his productivity on The field, but ashamed of his personal Conduct off of it. Hopefully he can resolve this issue and return to Carolina in a timely fashion, if the rumors of allegations turn out to be false.
