I liked Gotham. I didnt think it was amazing, but I did think it was good. For a pilot I would put it squarely as a solid B on the grading scale. Its way better than many of the best shows pilots but its no where near the level of shows like LOST but few shows are. What I liked best was the city itself and the score. The city feels and looks like Gotham. Its timeless, with its old 70s cars yet they have razer era flip cell phones. They did marvelous work with the set pieces and how it looks and feels. Its very well crafted to feel retro and modern at the same time. And like I said the music is pitch perfect. But thats what you get when you use Graeme Revell. The man responsible for scoring The Crow. Gotham has a lot of potential. Im curious to see how it develops.
