I lived in the maisonettes under the church and grave yard....moved from Eldon Place off the Bagbys! :) spent many a school summer at Woodhouse moor tennis courts.. .anyone remember the lovely little library next to the Victoria memorial. . climbed that many a time as a kid!....I actually worked in the swan with two nicks (land lady Barbara) from 1978 -1980 while my now husband was at Leeds uni!... Also worked at Alan Macks Hairdressers on a Saturday in the square just further up from the Marquis pub ....threw many a banger in the taproom!) Wonderful memories Xx
