I looked at my calendar last night, noticed all the variables still in the air, compared that to the time and funding I have available to make everything on my agenda happen, and wanted to scream. I played some Ani DiFranco instead. She understands my pain. She helps keep me focused. Her robust discography was my original writing playlist. Freakshow always spoke to me. life in the circus aint easy but the folks on the outside dont know the tent goes up and the tent comes down and all that they see is the show and the ladies on the horses look so pretty and the lions are looking real mad and some of the clowns are happy and some of the clowns are sad but underneath theres another expression that the makeup isnt making life under the big top its about freedom its about faking theres an art to the laughter theres a science and theres a lot of love and compliance welcome to the freakshow here we go... https://youtube/watch?v=cY0JOYJE5Ew
