"To our brothers & sisters in Christ who make the En Gedi Retreat possible, thank you for this free gift! The gratitude that fills my heart reminds me to be thankful for the free and undeserved gift of salvation. It is hard to put into words what this week has meant to my husband and I. Like so many others in ministry, it feels strange and almost surprising to be served, so whole-heartedly by so many. From being picked up by Carl’s sister, Brenda, from the Denver airport, to using Carl’s car all week, to the hospitality shown over and again by the Walker family, Snyder family, and all those working on the ranch, we have felt so overwhelmingly blessed! Special thanks to Jenny Snyder for her friendliness and hospitality throughout the whole week. The two hymns running through my head this week have been “This is My Father’s World” and “How Great Thou Art” as we have been so overtaken by the beauty of God’s creation here. "
