I love living, working, and worshipping in Carmel. Im quite thankful. That being said, why does every single open space w/in the downtown area need to be developed? Maybe it stems from growing up in a little town surrounded by fields, but it saddens me when I see every little corner and lot being developed for yet another thing (which could be occupying the many For Lease spaces I also pass)...sigh. Maybe its our lack of understanding we just a have too much crap and are valuing all the wrong things. Or, maybe Ill be eating my words and that space is going to be used for a soup kitchen/food pantry/anything to help people.
