I love matching bands! Unfortunately, I went to a very small country school in Montgomery Co., this was before the big consolidation of the little schools into the 3 big ones, North Montgomery, Southmont & Crawfordsville, and all we basically did was march in a straight line in the hometown parade & the Christmas parade in Crawfordsville. We did get a chance to do some of the fancy stuff in our new school during the first football season. Of course that was my senior year and I didnt do any marching after that. Fortunately, I got to partake as a band parent for 4 years as our daughter marched in the band. I guess you could say that is a case where I got to live out my dream through my child. :o) Unfortunately, our granddaughter isnt interested in marching. Shes going the choir route, but we have a grandson arriving at the end of January and daddy was on the football team. So, if Isaac is anything like his daddy, I & his grandpa will be sitting on the bleachers yelling our heads off & trying to keep warm! :o) Maybe our great grandchild will like to march!!!
