I love my job....accept for certain times of the year. Yesterday I was putting mail in the box and all I can hear is the echo of a 12 gauge shotgun going off. My secret fear is being shot by a hunter while Im on the route :-( I even rewrote the Beverly Hillbillies song. And then one day he was huntin a Whitetail....... When he shot the rural carrier delivering the mail. Dead that is......shreaded envelopes everywhere! Im telling ya.....I think I have PTSD! Waking up in the middle of the night with house #s scrolling thru my brain and the sound of shotguns ringing in the back ground. Lmbo!
