I love the idea of this race – it starts with a slow bike race and finishes with a sprint! Riders start in the last bend, and cannot cross the finish line until the bell rings, which can be up to four minutes after the start, if they cross the line, interfere with another rider fall or ride off the track they are eliminated, those still up when the bell goes race one lap to the finish – brilliantly simple, and great fun to watch the skill and power!
