I love this movie. I especially love The relationship between the father and the daughter in a small town. Especially the cornfield scene. I want my daughter to have freckles. The ending to the movie stupid. I dont care how long it takes me. Im going back into a small town. I am going to have a daughter. Even if I have to bring her from Moldova. I need some place to put her. I need to safe place for my wife and kids. I need to be around people with an eighth-grade education Who are pacifist and who will not be as smart as my kids. I need and the Mennonites. And if my daughter grows up falling in love with one of these people I will just have to train him to be a better soldier. But I will find these moments. And I dont care how long it takes. And I dont care how many people I have to write off. And I dont care how many women I have to leave. I dont care how many children I have to have. I dont care how many jobs I have to get fired from. I will find these moments. Resurrection. The biggest mistake is waiting. Because time is all we have. Its better to make the mistake and learn from it. Then to wait to die. Perfectionism is a mental illness. It is a product of a white-collar middle-class. The world is not a point and click. It is not about shuffling paper. You shuffle paper because society becomes too large to manage. But life is a product of sin. Its messy. Time is related to space. Time only moves forward. Because entropy pushes time. The world is wired for chaos. Thats why if you wait for perfection you were just waiting to die. The biggest mistake I have made in my life is waiting.
