I love waking up with my mind going on a journey. I just woke up thinking about the stories we tell (for no reason...I just did)...and I got to thinking about how the most powerful people...when it comes to legacy...are not those who do great things in life, have the most wealth, or anything possible to achieve in life... The most powerful people EVER are the ones who tell the story. Storytellers create legacies. Which brings me to an African Proverb, Until the lions have their historians, the tale of the tale of the hunt shall always glorify the hunter. This stuff fascinates me. I love that proverb...and I dont know a proverb to capture my thoughts right now... It amazes me that our not my favorite, yet most powerful and listened to storytellers, tell stories about men and women who lead life changing movements or invent things that make our quality of life possible...but they dont tell the stories of all of the people who actually did/do the work and keep it working... These Storytellers tell our legacy of our society and shape our values... Yep, I am my fathers daughter. :) ...Long-winded and all.
