I loved the way our league community came together yesterday to celebrate all players and their achievements big and small. Looking around the room at one stage I felt a sense of connectedness even though I did not know the names of everyone who had come to see their treasures shine brightly. Well done to our young ones who managed to sit for so long........each of them tried so hard. Thank you to those people who came to congratulate both Darren & I on a wonderful day and a brilliant season. We find it hard to accept the success was ours alone because in reality we have some very dedicated and hard working friends who came along and made the journey less arduous. They rolled up their sleeves, listened and suggested things which in the end allowed the hard decisions to be made. Like I said yesterday we dont always get it right but we try our hardest. So this is not the end of the road yet. We are having a club meeting in a couple of weeks and then we will set a date for our AGM. Lots of work still to be done to enable us to be ready to start our 2015 season. Please stay tuned once again thank you all.~Rina
