I made a post about the existence of God and many people took it personal. If i doubt the existence of God due to all the abnormalities happening around the world and God allows it, has it got to the extent of taking it personal instead of bringing your facts and figures to prove or explain his existence. Anglican which is an offshoot of the Catholic church brought Christianity to Nigeria in the 18th century by two Portuguese. The highest figure of Catholic church said and i quote “Through humility, soul searching, and prayerful contemplation we have gained a new understanding of certain dogmas. The church no longer believes in a literal hell where people suffer. This doctrine is incompatible with the infinite love of God. God is not a judge but a friend and a lover of humanity. God seeks not to condemn but only to embrace. Like the fable of Adam and Eve, we see hell as a literary device. Hell is merely a metaphor for the isolated soul, which like all souls ultimately will be united in love with God.” If a church in the caliber of Catholic contradict the existence of Hell and the said Adam and Eve are not the first men using the word FABLE, what do you expect of me? Most people who claim they know God too well am very sure there God does not know them coz there lives style will tell you. If theres hell, they will be the first to burn there. That you call God all the time, or defend his name all the time and go to a powerful church does not make you a more better person than those who are neutral in religion. I choose to be neutral from religious abnormalities coz religion remain a very big fallacy and God allow it coz many innocents souls has died defending the name of God and God couldnt defend them.
