I managed to avoid paying attention to any of the ads thus far this year almost entirely... but then I also managed to avoid paying ANY attention whatsoever to what each is doing or saying... its probably all empty promises or lies anyway. tell me for whom I should vote and WHY. frankly, I dont even have a clue who will be on my ballet this time around, apart from the wolf/corbett thing which appears to have been set months ago. in years past, when I truly paid attention, Id often have to sit quietly at conference tables while clients bantered on about how terrible this person or that person was because of what they we doing to their industry, and 9 times out of 10, I was totally in favor of what that person was doing. its a total catch-22, and I realize that, so convince me that theres a person worthy of leaving work early for adding one more vote to their tally. tell me what they do for you personally; tell me what they do for your small business; tell me what they do for your aging parents or disabled children. give me a reason to not think leaving to vote today would be a total waste of time.
