I may be old and crotchety, but I remember that feeling you got the night before the first day of school. The excitement. The endless possibilities of the new year running through your mind. The picking out the clothes youd wear, and the inevitable insomnia. I know many of the kids are going through this tonight as they prepare for school tomorrow (or maybe it was yesterday or maybe next week), but the excitement is there nonetheless. And though I have no kids of my own (at least not biological), Im praying for all the kids of the world tonight as they prepare for another year of education. Praying for safety. Praying for Gods grace on them. Praying for their teachers, that they may not impart just knowledge, but wisdom as well. Praying that these students will grow this year and be that much closer to the person God intends them to be. Pray for students everywhere, my friends. Its one of the best investments you can make.
