I mediated today for the first time in months. I found a secret park just north of the UN on the water which you have to take a bridge to get to. It was me and a fisherman. I think that meditation would cure the planet, but its nearly impossible to the 2013 homosapien. I watched the East River waves. I looked for one wave. A single instance on earth, that wave. That wave was me. I am a single instance on Earth, never to return in any form. I read in a recent book of philosophy, recommended by a beloved friend, that there is no meaning to life. I agree. There is no inherent meaning to life-> but life can have value. With no inherent meaning to life, the meaning of life is to add value to it, and once you have the ability to add value to your life, you are charged -shit, I charge you- to teach others to add value to their own, thus adding value to life itself.
