I met with the park district this morning. They have begun cleaning up the fairways on the south course. The front nine needs little more than mowing with the deck set high. The back nine will require the use of the forestry mower on a few holes. Additional work can be done when the installation is scheduled later this month or early September. Volunteers will be needed to move logs (which the RPD will cut into sections) so we can line the sides of the fairways. Brush can be piled to the side to be moved at a later date. Fairways should be cleared & poison ivy will be sprayed again before our August 25th pin location meeting.
