I must brag about my dog. Ive posted before that my live trap was ruined by the neighbors dogs, so I havent been able to use it and it was one of the best methods for keeping the local Rodents of Unusual Size out of my chicken pen. Last night Jax really wanted to go out the back door, but he knows he isnt allowed in the chicken pen. I opened the door anyway. There was a HUGE opossum right next to my hens! He ran out and as soon as it turned its back on him, he hit it like a freight train and shook it until it was dead. Then he was happy to take the dead opossum out of the pen for us. He found a job and he does it well.
