I need a new vacuum cleaner. All of my vacuum cleaners suck..or rather, they DONT suck. I have 3..none of them work that well. I end up going back to the old Oreck as it is dependable, but doesnt do that well anymore, yet the belt is easy to change. The old Dyson DC5 needs a new belt and clutch and is a pain in the ass to clean. The old Hoover keeps breaking belts and they take half a day to replace. Yes. They are all old. But no matter what I spend, in 5 years, I need one that actually works.I am going to sell the Dyson (or trade it in at the vacuum shop) and donate the Hoover...and keep the Oreck as a standby, because I can always depend on it to run, but it doesnt deep clean like the others used to. Any ideas? Anyone?
