I need blog/web hosting advice! Im in the research phase of dumping my inactive LostandFarm blog and domain (which was a free blog in the first place and therefore extremely limiting) because it just hasnt been relevant since we moved to an apartment in town. Not to mention I have so many ideas that dont fit within the theme/format of the old blog and it was getting a little too busy and off-subject trying unsuccessfully to cram it all in. Time for a fresh start. Im thinking of instead doing an artist mom themed blog where I can focus more on my creative side, link to my etsy store (which will hopefully give me the opportunity to make an occasional commissioned painting), post my existing portfolio, and share art and craft projects that Im working on for our home and with my kids. Im thinking an artist MOM theme would keep my grocery budgeting tips and ocassional recipes relevent too. The problem is that I have no experience AT ALL with self-hosting. I consider my freebie Wordpress Lost and Farm page as having been my warm up project. It served its purpose. But it was way too restricting and is completely irrelevant now. And I miss having a writing outlet!!! Needless to say, Im ready to step up to the plate. Sooooo... who can I ask you a ton of questions about self-hosting?????
