I need some help! I have a RED5 RV6 microphone on an m-audio fast track pro box connected on my laptop and I try to make some recordings. The box seems to work fine, as I can hear perfectly when I connect headsets on it, it gets power, it is recognized by 3 computers. The microphone on the other side does not respond. I downloaded all necessary software for the box, I have recording programs, I pressed any possible combination of buttons on mike and box, but nothing happens. I tried also disabling the mike of the laptop, forcing it to get the sound from the m-audio box, but nothing. I start thinking that it may be a cable issue of the mike, but I would like to make sure that all other possibilities are excluded. Anyone any thoughts?
