I need some ideas, please. Im going to be driving through the mission next week (I purposely am flying into JAX and driving down to Ft Lauderdale for a cruise). I havent been inside FJM boundaries for 9 years, and its been over 13 years since the mission. Please help me remember what I need to see! My wife doesnt seem incredibly interested, so I want to make it fun. I cant stay long (maybe a day), but I want to get some good pictures of Florida weirdness, and eat at some good/crazy restaurants (Sonnys is a given). Places that I served that are potentially on the route: Mandarin, Normandy, Lake Butler, Palatka, Gainesville, Ocala, Inverness.
