I need to get something off my chest: I know its hard to open your hearts and give to others in need. You may find yourself thinking stuff like shes asking for too much I saw her buying something on another site last week I bet they have money for cigarettes and etc. I myself have been guilty of thinking similar things. There is someone on this site that has been under such scrutiny that several people have questioned her legitimacy including me. I have realized that if youre going to give something to someone in need, it has to be with a 100% open heart and if the person receiving your gift does something shady then that is on them and not you. If youre not willing to give with an open heart then the gift isnt coming from the right place. We are not judges. We are all humans. Weve all been in need in some way or another at some time in our lives. In my 20s I can remember not having enough money to buy tampons and luckily I had family that was always there to help me out in my time of crisis. Last week, I had 12 crowns done in one day and I actually reached out and asked for help. Jana brought me some soup and it was a major help to me, since I couldnt eat anything else. I own my own business and I have been very fortunate that I havent been in financial need but this experience has opened my eyes that its not always a financial need. When this group first started I was made aware of a girl in need and I said no way, she works for me. she makes plenty Little did I know she had other circumstances that was taking away from their grocery budget and was suffering in silence. You never know when someone is suffering. Keep your hearts open. If someone on this page is asking for everything offered, it might be because theyre literally desperate. Today, Jana visited a house of a frequent person on this page and she can testify that the need is more desperate than we all know. I know I am changing my attitude and opening my heart 100%.
