I never complain or rant but this just had to put up on here. I went into a convenient store to get a Gatorade. When I was waiting in line this lady was at the counter with 9 bags of candy, 4 bags of chips, 4 large monster energy drinks and 2 sodas. She then handed the clerk her benefits card. I asked her miss are you really buying all of that stuff with your benefit card?. She then replied yeah, if you want give me your drink and Ill buy it if you give me the money for it. I laughed and replied Im good, I would rather pay for it myself without government assistance. Trust me I dont look down on anybody needing financial assistance but when you abuse the system like that it discusses me! My mom raised me by herself working hard for the money she needed to have to put clothes on my back, warm food in my stomach and a roof over my head without abusing the system. Im very grateful for what she did in order for us to live. To all the hard working mothers and fathers doing whats needed to live. I would just like to say thank you for using the tax payers money the way its intended to.
