I never really post about this kind of stuff, but today really upset me!! I took my son to Ikea to pick up a couple of things and on the way out there were lots of cars looking for spots. As we were heading out to the car there was a minivan pulling out of a space. Ahead of me was a big red SUV with its blinker on, waiting for the space and to my right was a sedan waiting for the minivan to clear the lane (or so I thought). As the minivan moved out of the way, the SUV waited for my son and I to pass and the sedan swerved ahead to grab the space, nearly hitting us! Then she got out of the car to yell at the SUV that she had been waiting for the space. She was apparently so focused on being 100 feet closer to the entrance that she didnt even SEE us walking right past her. Thank goodness I had Bubba in the cart and I was paying attention but boy, was I shaken. If you are out running errands, I understand the frustration of finding a parking spot in a busy lot but expect to do some walking and watch out for others for goodness sake!
