I personally hope Scotland stays in the union, but I hope they are not bullied and blackmailed into their decision by number 10 and the members that sit on the powerful Tory business board who are starting to release scare stories on behalf of the huge corporations they represent in their day jobs, maybe the underlying reason for this is because unlike England the Scots may very well want them to pay a little tax for trading in their country. But even if these corporations were at last forced by somebody to pay their fair share of tax they would still want Scotland because its people buy millions of goods and services and there are still huge profits to be made. Scotland is wealthy , Very wealthy !! and Scotland is a modern up to date country that sits between Europe, Asia and the US and S. America, they also have a second absolutely huge tourism economy and their own vast energy reserves and huge fishing reserves and large specialized industries that the whole world wants to trade in. No companies or countries are going to forsake Scotland, or commit financial suicide by out pricing their services in Scotland and that includes England in fact the likely hood is that Scotland would become wealthier with its own treasury and its economy overseen by the Bank of Scotland. Scotland should make their own decision and the fight should be a clean and well balanced one BUT yet again the Torys revert to character with lies and scare stories and intimidation by the use of proxy. I have lost count how many times the Tories have predicted the end of the world from the introduction of the minimum wage to the building of the NHS to workers rights and welfare and social housing all of which the Tories said would sink the country and ruin it forever.
