I picked up this set of two-tier end/side tables a few months ago while purchasing another item. At the time, the tables were in really rough shape, but I thought there might be a chance to breathe new life into them. The walnut wood, larger surface areas and the under mounted drawers with recessed pulls all appealed to me so I scooped them up. This weekend I was finally able to spend a little bit of time cleaning them up and Im pleasantly surprised by the results. I spent a bit of time over the past few months trying to identify the tables, but havent had any luck finding a match to determine the manufacturer. I would assume that they are American made by the rounded square legs, but could be wrong. The only mark Ive been able to find on either table is a 3106 stamped on the bottom of one drawer. All in all, the construction is well done and these are so solid that my curiosity remains peaked. Anyone have any idea on the background of these?
