I posted the following comments on ESPNs Facebook Page. As a Vet Im tired of everything I hold dear being torn down and spat upon! If you value your Freedom, and the Americans that served and sometimes died to protect that freedom, Id request you let ESPN know that you wont tolerate fools lightly. Mr. Blackistone has the right to say what he thinks. I have the right to refuse to support him. There are consequences for your actions. Mr. Kevin Blackistones comments about the National Anthem are both ignorant and an insult to Veterans everywhere. I believe a formal apology by Mr. Blackistoneis not only proper but necessary if you hold any interest in maintaining what little honor you may have left. I would also request you consider if you want such a insulting individual to continue to represent you. I personally will never watch ESPN until that apology occurs and will recommend everyone I know to do the same. You are a sports network. Do not continue to be so stupid as to think you are a political network.
