I put Lil in the corner because she needed an attitude check. Shes been testing the water a lot lately so Im trying to nip it in the bud. I explained to her that her attitude stinks and she needed to speak to me with respect, thats why she has to stand in the corner for a little while. She knows that she isnt supposed to talk while enduring a consequence in the corner. But she turned around and said.. Mom, does my attitude really stink? I said, yes Lilly..it really does and you need to do something about that. She said well cant you just get the air freshener out and spray me with it? Maybe that will help it not stink so bad, then I wont have to stand in the corner. I usually try to keep a stern poker face when disciplining her, but this time I failed and literally laughed so hard that she started laughing. There are some questions that I have NO idea how to answer. Totally caught off guard! Lol
