I put a report of the sailing trip in which I assisted Ken Britten and Sandra Aamodt deliver their new (for them) ketch, Aquilla, from Anacortes, WA to San Francisco in August, 2006. During one of the middle of the night watches, I was thinking about how I might depict some of the events of the trip on the web, and remembered Minards graph (see previous post). With lots of assistance from Ken and Sandra in transferring the information in Aquillas log to the graph, I generated this summary of Leg 2 of the trip from Neah Bay to Drakes Bay.
