I ran into my old economics teacher, now in his late 80s, He was terrific. I remember our first class where he asked us why we wanted to study economics. Just a kid, I said I wanted to learn how money worked in society. He said you have it all wrong, I wont teach you about money. Ill teach you that economics is about choices and when you make choices you have to trade off something, I will teach you how everything in society is interconnected. From the age of 16, I was hooked. He was a great teacher. He showed me a new world. Thats what the best teachers do.
