I rarely brag about my hubby...but tonight, he went above and beyond the call of duty... While I was walking Spencer through the neighborhood, I saw an kitchen table on a curb, next to a dumpster. In the dim light, it looked ok, and I thought, why not? I could use an old kitchen/dining table for lots of things.... So I begged the hubby to go grab it for me. So, under cover of darkness, he walks a block with a hand truck and picks up the table for me!! How sweet is that? And it turned out to be a real beauty too!! Its just an ikea table, but the top cleaned up very nice and it turned out, it had a leaf inside, so we can actually use it as a dinner table that will fit our whole family at once! Talk about an answered prayer!!! When we moved here, we left all our furniture behind...and now its all coming back to us! I had been praying about how we could possibly afford a new table, and here one shows up free!!! Guess I shoulda thought to ask for chairs too, lol! But, they will come Im sure. Happy day! :)
