I read a comment saying that the Mexican children being settled in homes here in PA should be returned to their country. Or, in the commentors words, send their asses back. My comments are directed to the Christians saying these things. (And there are many such people.) a.) My Aztec/Mexican & Native American family could say the same thing to you. b.) Orderly, strict regulations are important to modern immigration, but most of the people freaking out about this are Christians. Our first rule of thumb comes from Gods word...and Gods word says immigrants are to be welcomed and cared for. c.) Many of the children coming are boys ages 14-17, at perfect vulnerability to be drafted into drug cartels & human trafficking rings. This, my Christian friend, is the perfect opportunity for you to prevent that from happening. d.) I love America. This is my home, and it is beautiful. But lets not be delusional. Immigrants are often homesick, especially those forced out by violence and fear. They arent sitting around wishing they could be in America for Americas sake. Many of them also love their country, and love the beauty in it, and wish they could be there without the violence running a rampage. d.) Good thing Isaiah 58 wasnt written. Oh wait.
