I read the entire chapter 9 of Romans and cannot get past the first 4 verses to talk about something that is so personal and all of us born-again believers need to have. It should not even be an option for any of us. In fact it should be our life blood and everyday living, but it is not. We have the ability to change our not into I desire my loved one to be saved (or whoever it is that God places on our hearts) so much so that we would do absolutely anything! Paul had a love for people, especially the Jews that he was willing to go to hell for them just so they could go to heaven. He says in Romans 9:1-4 I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost, (2) That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart. (3) For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh: (4) Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises; We take hell too lightly. In fact we take a lost soul too lightly! We go about our daily lives and walk by soul after soul and we rarely if any ask that soul the question. Why? The number one reason is PRIDE. We are more worried about what others think of us than the fact if that individual dies this very second they would spend an eternity (FOREVER) in hell. What in the world are we doing with Christ? We are more of a hater than the lost to withhold such gift as salvation. Shame on us. When will we all wake up start to beg God to save the souls of our loved ones and put that request into action with our WORDS! All through the Bible Jesus stated the phrase “Let him who hath ears, let them HEAR” Jesus said that a blind lost man cannot SEE the kingdom. If a person CANNOT see then stop SHOWING then and START TELLING them! The physical blind man cannot physically see so they have to rely on SOUND! Are we getting the idea saints? Sure we have deaf people that is an exception to this situation but even then you SIGN the question which is STILL speaking! When was the last time we weeped over our loved ones begging God to save them instead of God bless me with this, give me this, give me that? Paul said in the next chapter in Romans 10:14-15 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? (15) And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! Psalms 126:5-6 says, “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” Who now is on your heart that needs to be saved? Are you begging God daily for them to be saved? Are you begging God to give you the boldness to SPEAK to the BLIND? Stop trying to show a BLIND person Jesus! Love to all!
