I read the story about the minor earthquake in N. Georgia that took place on Friday. This may have been nothing, but, this morning ,Saturday, Nov. 22 (I do not know exact time, didnt wear my watch) as I was hunting I was standing on a rock outcropping on a cliff in Marion County and felt a jolt. It caught my attention because I used to work in the explosive industry and the vibration I felt was similar to the after shock of a large explosive blast. I heard no blast or rumble and I was not near a rock quarry or construction job. I definitely felt the rock under my feet vibrate/jolt. I was on one knee and one foot on the rock. When I felt the vibration I stood up and looked around and listened for a noise. I heard nothing. Except for the low noise of the breeze blowing, there was no other sound.
