What this guy is writing is true. The public has to understand and not be easy to condemn the mother because; 1) She is a single mother (I have no idea where Firdaus step father is) 2) She experienced a miscarriage early this year and to top it off, the boys biological father had passed away on January 22, 2012 according to JKMs findings. And now apparently her second marriage is on the rocks. Along with oddtimings for her work, Im assuming she is undergoing stress and depression as according to neighbors, she seldom comes out. Truly, she is broken and judging her based on Facebook photos is not fair on her part as we do not know the full reason for her to make Firdaus go through that condition. 3) According to Lola, she is not well off. I went to her residence and it is true. The family is living in squalid conditions. However, when I spoke to the boys babysitter (also mentioned in this article) Lola is believed to be undergoing depression. She did not choose to apply for JKM as her salary is more than the required application prerequisite, an applicant has to be earning RM3,000 and below. She is believed to be earning more than that. 4) The babysitters comments in the article, stating that Lola loves Firdaus is true as that is what the babysitter told me too. The boy, when met today at the hospital constantly calls out to his mother. I feel, instead of lambasting the woman right away basing on Facebook photos would not do justice to her. We have to await the full police report and see what they have to say. I am still in the belief that the woman should be given a fair trial and that we should be more understanding to find out exactly what made her do such a thing. I have been through depression to the point of committing suicide even, so I know the things depressed people do when they are at their most lowest moment. Sigh. I feel sorry for the two boys and the mother.
